Bailgate Rotary Club celebrated Burns night in the traditional way. Bob Brown one of our Friends of Bailgate, paraded the Haggis around the room to the sound of ‘Scotland the Brave’. He then addressed the Haggis in a distinct Glaswegian accent before offering a toast to the Haggis. After the traditional Burns night fayre more entertainment followed, with Bob Brown giving a fine redition of ‘A Lammas Night’ with more traditional Burns poems and songs entertaining members and their guests for the rest of the evening culminationg in a rousing version of ‘Auld Lang Syne’.
